Hello,

At first, Happy New years for all the contributors of this site!  Grin

Well, do you know if North Korean AF used Yak-3 at the begining of the war of Korea? I know they used Yak-9U (or P?) and La-9 and 11. But not Yak-3 even if American fighter pilots stated several Yak-3 shot down. But in the heat of the fighting Yak-3 and Yak-9 could be mistaken...

Truly yours...  Smiley

i would rather be in a yak-9, it was heavier and able to absorb more punishment. i don't think the yak-3 was supplied
to many foreign operators friendly to the USSR. apart from the French!
